Digital Asset Checklist

Is your visual presence reflecting who you’ve become?
Each new year brings a fresh wave of momentum. Goals are set. Visions are cast. And often, the visuals we rely on — for our careers, our businesses, our personal brands — don’t quite keep up. That’s where I come in.
Photography isn’t just about capturing a nice image. It’s about alignment, confidence, and legacy. Our 2026 journey most likely contains big dreams and a greater sense of self, so use this checklist to ensure your digital assets are keeping pace with your growth.
1. When Was Your Last Headshot?
I’m not talking about a selfie or the one your coworker snapped at your desk because the Marketing Department needed one that day. I’m talking about a professional headshot that captures you — your current energy, your presence, your purpose.
Headshots are often the first impression people have of you. Online or on a stage, on LinkedIn or your About page — that image carries a story. So ask yourself: Does mine reflect the person I’m becoming?
If not, I am here to help you capture your 2026 story.
2. Are You Showing Up with Personal Branding Images?
If you’re a business owner, creative, speaker, or leader, personal branding photos are the first impression of your brand. They tell your story visually, through more than just a single frame. These personalized branding sessions create a library of images you can pull from all year: behind-the-scenes moments, lifestyle shots, detailed product images, and portraits that show what it is like to work with you!
They show HOW you work, WHAT you stand for, and how it FEELS to work with you.
No more scrambling to find something “decent” to post. These images are curated, versatile, and ready to support your story.

3. Are You Still Relying on Just Your Phone?
Phone cameras are convenient, but convenience doesn’t always equal quality. You can feel the difference between a photo that’s rushed and one that’s been created with intention.
Professional photos have depth, direction, and meaning. And when you invest in that level of quality, it shows to your clients, your collaborators, and most importantly, to yourself. Check out the difference between these images I captured of a ginger root (Ginger by Ginger…hmm…that has a ring to it).
Check out this photo taken on my “ole-reliable” (my kids and their Gen Z peers are always making SpongeBob references, so I thought I’d make one too). You can see the depth, the clarity, and the fine details of the picture.

In the next photo, you can tell that this is an image taken on a cell phone (my mobile of choice is an iPhone, though most phones on the market generally produce the same level of quality).

4. Are Your Assets Organized and Accessible?
I’ve seen it too many times: a beautiful shoot with incredible images that end up forgotten in a random Dropbox folder or lost in an email thread. Visual assets are only powerful when they’re used…and used often. It is NOT bragging; it is showing up as your professional brand to put your future clients at ease!
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by how to organize your brand images or are unsure how to plug them into your marketing, I offer a consulting session in person or via Zoom to help you build out that infrastructure.
Because the goal isn’t just to take a beautiful photo. It’s to make it work for you.
You Deserve to Show Up with Confidence
If 2026 is the year you’re growing your visibility, building your brand, or simply feeling more like yourself, make sure your photos reflect that. I’d love to help you update your headshots, expand your personal branding library, and bring clarity to your visual presence.
